1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or accessing Panchayat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Account Eligibility & Responsibility
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 should use the app with parent or guardian guidance.
- Authentic Identity: Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating duplicate fake accounts, impersonating village residents, or pretending to be an elected official (such as a Gram Pradhan) is strictly forbidden.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (phone OTP verification). You agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
3. User Content & Conduct
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, posts, and comments you share on Panchayat. By posting on public scopes (Village, Block, District, Public), you grant Panchayat a license to display that content to your fellow community members.
You agree NOT to post:
- Defamatory, hateful, abusive, or sexually explicit content.
- False communal rumors, inflammatory regional disinformation, or election tampering.
- Unsolicited commercial spam or malicious links.
- Unauthorized private photos or phone numbers of fellow citizens.
4. Sabha Civic Participation
The Sabha section is designed for constructive community coordination, official notices, and transparent grievance filing. It does not replace formal legal filings or official statutory police complaints. For urgent emergencies, always utilize the integrated national emergency helplines (112, 100, 108).
5. Termination & Deletion
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate community safety. You may delete your account at any time through the app or website with immediate data removal.
